There are two types of brain cancer.
Primary brain tumor and Metastatic brain tumors.
Once transformed the cell grow and multiply in abnormal ways. As these cell grow they grow a mass of cells or tumor. Brain tumor that results from this transformation and abnormal growth of brain cells are called primary brain tumors because they originate in the brain that type of cancer could be called primary brain tumor.
